Lissahn DeVance

As a young adult, I fell in love with reading romance novels.  I loved how the couples met, fell in love and eventually married.  My love of reading expanded to other types of fiction novels. The one constant was that I LOVED how the stories unfolded. Naturally, this brought about my passion and desire for telling stories through wedding and event planning.  Over the past ten years I have worked with some awesome couples, dedicated mothers, and extraordinary companies to produce amazing events that have been published in various magazines and blogs. My passion is in the story. I wake up and go to sleep making sure that my clients are taken care of. It's truly a delight to work with vendors of extreme caliber while executing detailed and timely events.

Throughout the planning process and getting to know every one of the couples I’ve worked with, the moment I cherish most is when they’re able to enter their ceremony and reception areas for the first time, seeing that their vision has truly come to life.  While weddings are more of an intimate affair, I get the same joy when your eyes light up as you walk into your gala or birthday party. No matter the event, my heart skips a beat as you witness your story being told.

I've had opportunities to study and immerse myself into all aspects of design, while staying current on the latest trends in weddings, fashion, and colors so that I can provide my clients with the best experience possible. Whether your event is a wedding, birthday party, shower, anniversary, gala, or intimate dinner, I treat all events with the same level of care and attention to detail so that your style, personality, or brand is reflected throughout the event and all that you’ve envisioned it to be and more! Being a Wedding and Event planner is who I am and I'd love the opportunity to be yours.

Aside from my love of weddings and events, I'm a self-proclaimed shoe-aholic, I love chocolate, and I really love to laugh! I feel that a day without laughter is a day wasted. So why not laugh a little?  I still have my affinity for reading, especially on a cold or rainy night. Cooking is also on my list of experiences and it brings me great pleasure to incorporate my love of food into events by helping my clients select mouth-watering menus and tasty cakes!
